On September 20, 2006, Answers.com announced a partnership whereby certain Answers.com reference content would be integrated into NYTimes.comTM. The agreement includes direct access from NYTimes.com to Answers.com's patented 1-Click AnswersTM technology.
On October 23, 2006, Answers.com and CBSNews.comTM announced a partnership whereby AnswerTipsTM would be made available on the CBSNews.com site. This was the first-ever web-based implementation of AnswerTips, which, at the time, was available only through Answers.com's downloadable software, 1-Click AnswersTM. It is one of many tools on CBSNews.com that allow users to dig deeper, learning more about subjects and topics in the news.
On November 30, 2005, version 1.5 of the Mozilla Firefox® Web browser was launched with Answers.com embedded in its search toolbar for reference and definition lookup. Firefox users who have already upgraded to version 2.0 can still search Answers.com directly from the Firefox browser. Just download Mozilla Firefox and check out Answers.com in the Firefox Search Bar in the upper right hand corner (see more).
Answers.com provides reference resources across homeworkNYC.org, a website developed by The New York Public Library, the Brooklyn Public Library and the Queens Library. The site assists students throughout New York City with their homework, research and studies (see more).
Answers.com powers the reference search on Info.com. Users who choose the reference tab above the search box on the homepage will get Answers.com information for their query.
